How we made it
Nothing here came from anywhere it shouldn't. The making is the thing — the gathering, checking and tidying up is the actual work.
Pulled from a lot of public sources at once: company filings, the regulators (Cyprus, the UK, India, Brazil), Companies House, sanctions lists, press, review sites and social.
Turned it into tidy records — companies, people, licences, mentions — each one with its source and a note on how sure we are.
Cross-checked the claims, ruled out the cases that turned out to be a different company, and left anything we couldn't prove labelled as "not confirmed."
Made it into this — searchable, sourced, easy to skim. Making data usable is the hard part, and it's most of the job.
A demo's only as good as its worst fact, so we double-checked our own. There was no bank acquisition (those were licences), the founder's name is Evstratov (not the shortened "Eves"), and the scary "$500M Russian-bank" case is a different company. Catching those is kind of the whole point.
